In Ottawa now

the people were chatty

Had their leaders gone mad

Had they all gone quite batty?

Some people were happy

With the plans of the new lot

High on Parliament Hill however

The Steve, was not

“Look at them all

The fun that they’re having

They can’t act like this

It’s pure power grabbing”

He hemmed and he hawed

The Steve was not happy

One thing was sure

Was the future looked crappy

“The nerve of this lot

Stealing my throne

Just watch how I’ll protest

I’ll bitch and I’ll moan”

“They won’t succeed here

They won’t get too far

Those separatists, socialists

And…whatever- they- ares”

“The first thing I’ll do,”

he said with a grin

“Is to close everything down

and lock myself in”

“If that doesn’t work.,”

He continued with glee.

“I’ll start telling lies

About the other parties.”

He tried and he tried

To come up with more plans

For the Steve wanted no part

Of those moving vans

“I get it now

I must be just dreaming

Wait…where are we going?”

And he started kicking and screaming.

“If you can’t play nicely,”

The others all told Steve

“Well, as you can see

We’ll ask you to leave”
